SUZYLAWATI ISMAIL
-A Short Bio-
Dr. Suzylawati Ismail graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (BSc. Chemical Engineering) in 1997 and completed her PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same university in 2005.
Previously, she worked as a senior engineer at Matsushita Industrial Corp Sdn. Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor after completed her bachelor degree from 1997 until 2001. In 2004, she becomes a part-time Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara (Penang). After completed her PhD, she worked as a project manager at Schlumberger WTA (M) Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur from 2005 until 2010. She is currently a senior lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia since 2010.
She is expert in membrane technology, water and wastewater treatment and water control/shut-off for oilfield. She has won a lot of achievement and awards for example a Special Award by Korean Invention Protection Association (KIPA) in KIWIE 2015 which is located at Seoul, Korea. Her recent publications include "A New Approach of Thin Coated Adsorbent Layer for Batch Adsorption using Basic Dye" (2015) and "Model-based Analysis of Polymeric Membranes Performance in High Pressure CO2 Removal from Natural Gas" (2015).
